About MadLife

Mark - Guitar/Vocals

Mark was born in the remnants of the dust bowl.  A land of vast horizon with an aroma of paddies.  He was a shark who turned into a panther as he migrated eastward in search of a more plentiful territory. Oh, who are we kidding, he just came along for the ride.  Anyway he was called to the sounds of fuzz and chorus-y delay at a relatively young age and it quickly became a full blown obsession.  He'll also warble and holler in tune...and to a beat.  Ladies and gentlemen, its Mark.

Travis - Bass/Vocals

Travis Houser is a Bombastic Bassist hailed by the National Enquirer as "Special ... Cerebral… Like Palsy... Mindless ..." Houser is a desperate poser and has collaborated with the Thunder Bay Orchestra, Orange Flux Capacitor Ensemble, Moo Dog Festival, and was the 2018 prizewinner of the Jon Favreau Competition for Colorful Smells. When Houser is not being a very busy and sought after yodeler, he can be found passed out in the back of the van, or muttering incoherently to himself.

Ronnie - Drums/Vocals

This young man was born clutching an Indian head nickel that his mother swallowed when she was three years old. He held on tight to that coin until eventually trading it for a pair of magic hickory sticks. After leaving home at age five to seek his fame and fortune he found lodging in a hollow log with a family of raccoons that were nice enough to take him in. During the night he'd run through the town banging out tasty grooves on cars, garbage cans, tree stumps and hideous green metal lawn furniture. Although it created some beautifully amazing tones, the town's people soon grew tired of the racket and phoned the authorities. After evading capture for several weeks he was eventually cornered, sedated with a tranquilizer dart and transported to a local animal shelter. For the next several years he developed his rhythmic skills playing bongos for the prison jazz band. The End~
